November means a time to give thanks for our family, friends and loved ones this coming Thanksgiving. It’s also a time to show nonprofit organizations in your life some love! Every year, the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving is designated as “GivingTuesday.” This is a time where organizations across the country all come together on a single day of giving to raise as many funds as possible. Many organizations are able to partner with foundations or individual donors to match funds on GivingTuesday, helping money go further.
This year, GivingTuesday falls on Tuesday, November 29th. While we’re only at the beginning of November, now is the time to make a GivingTuesday plan. Whether you’re wanting to donate, the time for action is now! Check out these ways you can give!
Areas of NEED
Annual Giving Fund - area of greatest need
Hear the Music Project - our outreach arm; free hearing screening events providing free hearing evaluations, hearing health profile immediate results with awareness information for next steps. We serve entire communities hosting weekend community events while focusing on high-risk populations. Then, our Care Team helps walk each person in need to a life of hearing and hope.
Hear the Music Kids Camp - in its 5th annual year in 2022, we've served hundreds of children with hearing loss and their families offering a free weekend camp experience. This camp allows children with hearing loss to be with others like them.
(Hardaway's) Hope Fund - programs and events for students, adults, seniors and veterans with hearing loss and family members. The goal is to help people thrive with hearing technology. Our goal is to also have a Hope House which is the home for these programs and events.
Jamaica Missions/International Mission - international hearing missions building a hearing healthcare system in Jamaica and building a model for future developing nations.
Jace Chapman Family Fund - Family fund supporting financial needs of people with hearing loss. This fund supports hearing aids and hearing therapies.
